application area
the 6080 egac gas and aerosol component online monitoring system is designed for online monitoring of gas and aerosol components in ambient air or air pollution sources.
detection principle
ambient air is drawn through a constant flow rate by a vacuum pump through a size-selective inlet (e.g., pm 1.0, pm 2.5, or pm 10) to filter out larger particles. soluble gases are absorbed by a rotating wetted wall denuder (wrd), and water-soluble ions in aerosols are captured by a steam jet aerosol collector (sjac). subsequently, the collected samples are analyzed for anions and cations using two sets of ion chromatographs (ic).

real-time calibration with internal standards, no additional correction required.
ion chromatography analysis equipment with advanced hardware and software technology.
no need for pre-concentration, detection limit achievable at 0.1 µg/m³.
standard validation application methods for ambient air analysis available.
optional automatic sampler for collecting samples for other analyses.
remote control and maintenance, unmanned operation for up to one month.
selectable air pump flow rates, flow limiting device with self-cleaning function to ensure accurate flow.
analysis methods extendable to msa (methylsulphonic acid), oxalic acid, organic amines, or other organic acid analyses.
